Have you ever thought what would happen if a software engineer and an entomologist were in the same room together? It could lead to: a) A scientific discovery able to change the fate of the Mankind; b) A controversial musical project. Well, as of now, it looks like the inescapable future of the human species hasn’t changed at all after the meeting between the engineer Matteo and the entomologist Giovanni. Their unprecedented creative collaboration has given rise to some music productions that recall neo-soul, funk and hip-hop atmospheres. LASPESA is the name of their project.

Their first complete track is called “Some Other Time Soon” and it is the result of the collaboration with the singer Liliana Aurora (Label Mou). She is the voice of the Italian duo Might at Night and who lives in the near, yet not so close, Berlin.

The track was mixed by Francesco Migliarotti & LASPESA, the mastering and the artwork are by LASPESA.
