The Formel guys return on Manual Music for what will be their third release on the label already. Hot on the heels of their output on Sasha's Last Night On Earth and Cid Inc's Replug they team up with singer- songwriter and producer MILA for a little something different.

MILA is the project of Dutch 24 year old Michelle Virginie Alblas. Being brought up in the city where the streetlights, the nightlife and the cities motion have inspired her writing, MILA creates a contemporary and movable sound. Inspired by artists such as FKA Twigs, Lapalux and Banks, MILA shows influences from future R&B, triphop and electronic pop. After releasing her first two singles Sisters and Games in 2017, MILA is ready to show more sides of herself collaborating with several up and coming artists slash producers, such as Wannes Salome and ANUKA. At this moment MILA is working on her debut EP called V, which will capture a darker side of her like MILA showed us in her latest collab with Formel - Hide & Seek ft MILA.

In her own words: "Hide & Seek is a song about the dark temptations that I keep falling into. It’s about the dangerousness of my playful curiosity and my endless search for the thrill of things that I don’t understand."

First up on remix duties it's label boss Paul Hazendonk who has taken some of the hypnotic elements of the original, combined with some scattered fragments of the vocal and turned it into a heady late night affair.

German duo Sasch BBC & Caspar cleverly use the arpeggiator from the original and take full usage of MILA's lovely voice. Full on emo dance floor candy here!
