Kicking off 2020 with a brand new name on Cinematique, we welcome B Selekt to our label.

Benjamin Janke was born in 1990 in Berlin. With ten years he begun to play drums. Two years later he discovered his love for deejaying. From this point on his passion for electronic music grew constantly, and the first productions ideas came up as well. In 2008 he decided to do an audio engineer study and after this, he rented a studio in Berlin to start producing.

Benjamin released his debut EP in 2013 on 99 waves with the ‘Sunstroke EP’ and his album ‘Klimaanlage’ on Clubstream Mix. In 2014 he released on Bounce House Recordings and it was after this release his music became deeper and more developed. He took the decision to change his artist name to B Selekt and his sound can be described now as warm, melodic and with a good vibe for the dance floor.

We’re happy his ‘Gleam EP’ is our first release of 2020. With four subtle, warm but yet energizing originals, this is the perfect start of the new year.
