Musique with a French touch, we love it at Cinematique! Bonjour and welcome to Facettes.

Facettes is a musical collaboration between two long-time French friends who have been DJ’ing together since their teens. Twenty years on from their adolescent musical obsessions, they found themselves at the antipodes of the earth: Ben G in Strasbourg (France) and Klassix from Paris in Auckland (NZ). Ironically, despite being the greatest distance that they have ever lived from each other, communication via the internet gave them the flexibility to be far more productive than ever, and a natural collaboration ensued.

For Cinematique, Facettes might be a newly signed act but all together the two friends share a lot of experience in the music industry. Apart from that they have been signed on labels like Dear Deer Records, My Visions, Karmic Powers, Ein2/Eimusika and Miam records.

With this 'Dark Side of the Sun' EP they show their ability to blend deep house and cosmic techno with emotions to create a perfectly balanced release. Both originals are superb and will do some damage on the dance floors for sure. To top things off, we have invited Acud for a remix. This Berlin based artist is bringing in a beautiful chilled out rework of the title track.
