"I've been thinking a long time what my second album would be like, I wanted to merge all the sounds I am into at the moment, mixing disco, indie pop and all out electronica weirdness with my regular sound. This mix of influences shines thru in both the composition and arrangement as the technical use of analog hardware and typical "band-recording" techniques like re-amping sounds and using real drums. There is something for everyone on this album, each track holds its own while your into house, disco, techno or just want to chill out. It's been a pleasure to produce and mix this album. The result are these 10 tracks that I'm really proud to release to you all!" - Qbical
'The Night' is Qbical's second artist album, after his well received debut 'Life Is Like A Bunch Of Pixels' back in 2008. He toured a lot surrounding the release of his first album and started working various side projects, struggling to find inspiration- and direction for his Qbical project. We think it's pretty safe to say that his inspiration has returned, and it has returned with a vengeance! Right from the opening track this album sets the right mood. Happy, sometimes freaky electronic music, from straight on dancefloor bombs to more subdued downtempo tracks, Qbical delivers!
The album includes the first single 'My Love' which was released last summer with additional remixes by Nuno Dos Santos and Phonic Funk. More singles will follow in 2013 with a bunch of stellar remixes. Qbical will also start touring again with a brand new and improved live show. Keep an eye out for this guy!
